"Because you have a duty of care for your workers"
The association is a Joint initiative between taining companies involved in all areas of health and safety and conflict management .This has been born from concerns regarding the well being and security of people who work alone. Reports in national newspapers concerning lone workers, who have been the victim of assaults, and harassment from members of the general public, make it even more important to ensure that B.A.F.L.O.W becomes a resource for training and support.
We offer a number of services that we believe offer piece of mind to anyone who employs lone workers. These services help to fulfil employer’s obligations under the Health and Safety at Work act in relation to employees who may be at risk of harm from members of the general public, and the need to provide a safe working environment.
Lone workers are: - People who work on public and private transport
- People who work in or visit members of the general public in their homes
- Grounds staff, pest controllers, kiosk attendants and charity workers
- Bailiffs, parking attendants, security guards, vehicle clampers and breakdown recovery drivers
- Social workers, estate agents and those involved in sales, both in retail and in people’s homes
How many lone workers does your company employ?Call us now on 0800 043 1558 to find out how we can help you
